Property boundary staking
We transfer the property's boundaries from the title deeds and the available topographic diagrams onto the ground, marking the boundary points with fixed reference points.
Boundary staking is the reverse of a survey. Working from the coordinates and from what the title deeds and the existing topographic diagrams record, we carry the property's boundaries from the drawing back onto the ground. The staking is done with modern surveying equipment and in the national coordinate system, ΕΓΣΑ ’87.
As we go, we check the boundaries on paper against what is actually on the ground. Any divergence, such as a difference between the deeds, the cadastral record and an existing fence, is surveyed and documented on a diagram.
Staking does not by itself change a boundary or any right over the property. It is, however, the technical step that puts the boundaries correctly on the ground and, where it is needed, the basis for settling a difference between adjoining owners.

What we need from you
- Title deeds, and any historic deeds.
- Any earlier topographic diagrams.
- The ΚΑΕΚ code.
- Access to the property, and the owner present to point out the boundaries during the survey.
